On My Way Home
I brought my camera in to work recently to take some photos for a project, and on the way home I decided to finish off the chip (so to speak) with images of my commute. Most of them aren't worth posting, but here are a couple you might like.
(You know, I love having a digital camera, even a crappy one like mine; it's such a great source of new material for the blog!)
The fountain at the Ruggles train station where I get off in the morning. The shuttle to work waits right by that fountain, so I usually have ten minutes to sit and watch it in the mornings.
The entire area is part of the Northeastern University campus, by the way.
Last evening when I snapped the photo there was a beautiful but faint rainbow to the right of the fountain (the spray was blowing that way), but unfortunately it didn't come out in the picture.
Here's the commuter train just after I've hopped off at Franklin/Dean College. I took a few photos of the train because Sebastian loves it; he got really excited to see "Daddy train" on the computer last night.
This one is from our vacation in August up at my parents farmhouse in Maine. This cricket was just sitting there in the middle of their patio, and didn't react even when I got really really close. So I stepped on it.
KIDDING!
Actually I try not to kill bugs, with the sole exception of mosquitoes; I hate those things.
You know, I think maybe it was laying eggs or something. Not the best place to do that, though.
