My irony meter just pinged itself. In one of the last two debates George W. insisted that it took four years or more to make sure that Canadian drugs were safe...but did I just hear him correctly? He's talking about importing extra flu vaccine from Canada now?

Ah yeah. We can't import drugs from those primitive savage Canadians but we can import flu vaccine. Oh well.

I wasn't hugely impressed with Kerry's performance, and I think he could have pointed out that the US in fact is not tops in the world for medicine, but Bush really seems to pretty much have been saying "Everything we do is perfection." I noted a CNN poll that gave the debate to Kerry by a huge margin; I wouldn't have, but still, this means that for the most part Kerry is seen as winning all three debates. And before them he was seen as dead in the water by the Mass Media.

Oh, did you notice that Bush seemed to make being from Massachusetts almost like being a demon? "He's Evil, because he's a Senator from Massachusetts!!!" I think this is intentional; he's going for biases people in the Midwest might have. And it shows that, well, they really don't have a record
