Diablo Is Dead: Nothing to see here, move along
Actually Cronan killed Diablo a while ago, of course, but I couldn't resist that headline.
Not too much happened last night, actually; I made it through the Glacial Trail to the Frozen Tundra, an emergence that didn't fill me with delight. More of those annoying little imps were swarming everywhere, only these were more powerful and therefore (naturally) more annoying.
But actually it wasn't so bad! For a while I went back to throwing axes, but it really wasn't necessary. The recent addition of three points to all of Cronan's skills (thanks to a helm, sword, and the Battle Command skill) makes him far more efficient and speedy. Double-blow combined with Frenzy actually makes him fast enough to run around and kill those little imps before they get much of a chance to teleport.
So the next quest is the Ancients. I'll admit that I'm a bit concerned about them, since they're barbarians as well (and my sorceress had a hell of a time dealing with them - they were the third most deadly encounter for her). So we'll see how that goes.
I'm just about to level up - only a kill or two away - and I'm thinking it's time to increase the damage that Cronan can do, because he doesn't always kill opponents with a single blow. He'll need to be in top form to deal with the Ancients.
