Old-fashioned cars!

Every Wednesday in summer the main street of Woonsocket is shut down and filled with antique cars and motorcycles. Last Wednesday we took Sebastian for a walk to look at them. He was delighted.

Guess I should use an LJ-Cut, because there are four decent-sized photos here. By the way, this represents yet one more step in the restoration of my computer: I'm hosting these photos on the free webspace from my ISP, Cox. Oh, and I should admit up front that these are nowhere near as good-looking or well-composed as unquietsoul5's.

We'll be going away for a few days, but I'm bringing the camera. With any luck I'll have some decent pictures to post when I get back. I'll be mostly offline, but may hit the town library once in a while to check email. Incidentally, I recently had precisely 70 spam messages left in my RuneQuest site guestbook. Charming.

I saw my chin this morning for the first time in twenty years. I was feeling itchy and hot, and my beard has been turning grey, so I shaved it. Kept the mustache, though.

I can't say I particularly like my fat face and double chin, but maybe it will be an inducement for me to lose weight. And it should certainly surprise everyone who knows me! I wonder if they'll recognize me? Teri says I look very different.

Incidentally, I shaved in front of Sebastian so that he could see what was happening. He took it extremely well, hardly seems to notice a difference. When I was a kid I remember that I always got very upset when my Dad would shave his beard, but then, I don't think he let me watch.

I hope my complexion clears up soon. It's not terrible, but the red spots are annoying.
