Apr. 21st, 2005 01:52 pmThis one was from some humor newspaper (NOT the Onion) that I picked up about twenty years ago, probably while I was on vacation with my family in some strange place.
The article went something like this:
Okay, I didn't tell that as well as I remember it. Which is why I am going to kill the joke by explaining it. She's DYING to meet David Hasselhoff. Get it? Huh? Do ya?
The article went something like this:
Television star David Hasselhoff (of the hit series Knight Rider) announced a new charity drive today. The popular actor will be visiting terminally ill children in cancer wards across the country.
"I want to make a difference in the lives of children," said the ruggedly handsome star, "and I can't think of a better way than fulfilling their dream of a visit from me."
When told of the program, little cancer patient Anna Marie Sanchez (pictured) said "I'm dying to meet David Hasselhoff!"
