So. The colonoscopy went fine. My A1C is down to 6.5, from 6.7 three months ago and 6.9 three months before that. Which is a very good direction for it to go. My doctor was quite happy. All of my other bloodwork was fine.
I have no inguinal hernias, and the umbilical hernia has not come back. I've been having an occasional pain in my inner, upper left arm; I told my doctor, and she ran an EKG just to be safe. My heart is still perfectly fine, same as it always has been. So she sent me to an orthopedist.
He x-rayed my arm, and told me that my broken elbow from 12 years ago has healed up extremely well. He could hardly tell that it had ever been broken. He saw nothing to worry about; no signs of arthritis, rheumatism, or nerve damage.
My weight is down below 250 pounds for the first time in years.
Basically, considering my weight and family history and medical history, I'm incredibly lucky. At least when it comes to health
