Health Notes
May. 18th, 2006 09:28 amTwo full weeks of Allegra did absolutely nothing for my sinuses; there was no effect at all. No other allergy medication has ever helped me, either, so my doctor is going to treat it as if it's a sinus infection. Which is pretty much what I suspected it was from the first.
I started a ten-day course of antibiotics last night. We discussed stronger, quicker antibiotics, but she didn't want to take a chance on upsetting my stomach; it's not terribly delicate, but she feels that it's better not to take a chance.
The pain hasn't been terrible. I've been taking ibuprofen as needed, and it helps quite a bit. The one thing I've noticed - and it may be environmental - is that I'm feeling terribly warm all the time. I don't know what it means, although the temperature control near my cube is all messed up.
