bobquasit: (The Question)
I have tomorrow off. But Sebastian will be going to school, and Teri will be going to work, so it will be another five-six hours with nothing for me to do. Suggestions? I probably won't have the car, and there's nowhere worth seeing within walking distance.

On a totally unrelated note, I was looking around for a new LJ community, and it suddenly struck me that it would be interesting to see a community for people who were born in the 1960s. I think there was a weird cultural cusp for those of us who were toddlers during the Summer of Love; it's like a secret language that people from other times just don't understand. Like Pufnstuff, or Freakies, or Lidsville, or...good grief, did Sid and Marty Krofft really define my childhood? That's a frightening thought!

Come to think of it, Teri was born in the 1960s too (although several years after I was), and she has no knowledge of Krofft at all...except maybe for Sigmund and the Sea Monster and Land of the Lost. But those were much later and far less psychedelic.
