The Diary of A Simple Man

I wrote recently about a problem I'd had on GoodReads, when I wrote a long review only to lose it all before I could post it. I suggested on the GoodReads feedback group that a save draft feature would be nice to have. Someone recommended the Lazarus add-on for Firefox and Chrome. I installed it, and I just tested it tonight. It's amazing - it saved my work, all of it! I'm delighted.

I heard a commercial on NPR for Gather.com. Has anyone tried it? Is it any good?

I was over on "My Yahoo" this morning. I don't spend much time there, because Yahoo is mostly useless (and Yahoo Mail sucks), but I use it to check a few cartoons and Dear Abbey every morning.

I'm not sure what happened, but it started trying to force me to give it more personal information and to let it link my information to third parties. It looked a lot as if it were trying to transmogrify into Facebook. Weird!
