We all slept. Sometime in the night I was woken again; the power had come back on. Back to sleep until morning, and my vacation was over.

Okay, then. I'm blatantly imitating unquietsoul5 and doing a Cast of Characters post. This won't be repeated often; only when new people come in. Realistically, that probably means that this is the last time you'll see this. :D

I find myself wrestling with a couple of questions: what order to put people in, and who to include. So the order is going to be semi-random, and if I leave anyone out, it's only because my brain is an inferior sub-compact model. Okay?

Just saw a story on CNN, entitled "Nation says goodbye to Rehnquist". So I thought I'd join in with that touching tribute.

BURN IN HELL, YOU EVIL FUCKER!

He helped kill the Constitution and repeatedly violated his oath of office - not to mention his own putative beliefs. If there was a hell, he'd be in it for sure.
