Restaurant Reviews

I forgot to mention this before: I found a site where you can write your own restaurant reviews.

I found it because I HAD to write that review I recently posted about Yolks in Woonsocket. I was hoping to find something a bit like Advicenators (minus the rageaholic site admin, of course ), and Restaurantica isn't too far off; it doesn't allow you to sign up and be recognized as a user yet, but that's a feature they'll apparently be adding soon.

It doesn't have a user community so far, but perhaps that will change if it gets more popular and they add some more features. I'm the only person who has reviewed ANY restaurant in Woonsocket or North Smithfield. There aren't even any reviews for any place in Cambridge MA, for that matter. They definitely need people to write reviews!

I've only done a couple so far. I did catch one error, though: They list Charlie's Kitchen in Harvard Square as a Chinese restaurant, and that's definitely wrong.

A God-Loving Man

You may have heard that saintly, moralistic first-term Republican^* Senator David Vitter (R-LA), noted crusader and major supporter of an amendment to ban same-sex marriage, has been patronizing the D.C. Madam. And I don't mean he's talking down to her.

But unfortunately the story is already over almost before it began, because Vitter has announced that he has discussed it with God, and God has forgiven him.

After all, who are we to argue with the deity? If God is okay with it, than it must be - wait a minute.

Do you think that "God" could be Senator Vitter's nickname for his penis?

"I discussed it with God, and He said to go ahead and bang that whore!"

"Brandi, you've been a naughty girl. Kneel down before God!"

"God says the water sure is cold. Deep, too!"

"Doctor, why is God burning and dripping pus?"

Thank goodness we taxpayers are paying for the best medical care for God! I'd hate for anything to happen to him.
